Your “WHY” Is Your Fight To Your Life Of Entreprenuership!
Posted on 28. Jan, 2011 by Christina in Create Your Legacy, Success Mindset
Are you out there wondering which direction you are heading as you start this new journey into Entreprenuership? Do you have things in your life that is detouring your focus and your mission? Have you taken the time lately to regroup and really take a long hard look back to your reason WHY you started this journey? Are you at a stand still without a destination?
If you are experiencing any of these things I just meantioned above, then you are in the right place today, my dear friend.
I want to help you, by sharing 3 tips that put things in complete perspective for myself these past few weeks. See, I couldn’t see past what was happening in my life at that very moment and I was allowing my mind to control everything around me… I couldn’t see my destination and my reason WHY!
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal. – Henry Ford
To have success in life and business it requires you to never forget your reason WHY and to know your purpose with moving forward in your goals and dreams.
I want to share with you 3 tips that I believe will put you back on track to reaching your destination.
Your reason WHY needs to be so clear in your mind and your purpose needs to be your focus, or life may lead you on another path of failure.
- Today, I want you to write down the reason why you started this journey… do you remember WHY? When you can take a step back and write things out on paper, that’s when your reason WHY will become clear again to you. Know that your reason why will help you to stay focused and disciplined when times in your life gets rough and starts to feel out of control. We know tough times and disasters will happen, that is just a part of life… so now, just remember that you don’t want to lose sight of your why!
- Have you taken time to write out your goals lately? I know for myself I had goals, but I hadn’t taken the time to write them out and define why I wanted to meet these goals. I had them wrote down in my mind, but not where I could truly see them everyday. Isn’t that sad? I thought I would be able to achieve them because I knew what they were in my mind, but the really dumb thing is, I couldn’t see them! It’s just like a To Do list… you write things down, right? So that you can check them off as you meet that goal, right? Same thing in your business or life… how are you going to know that you really accomplished a goal you set for yourself, if you are not really clear with that goal? You won’t if you can’t see them! WRITE them down so you can put that big RED check mark beside it… DONE! It feels Awesome, I promise! Never again, will I not be able to see my goals and accomplishments… don’t procrastinate this task or you will be at a stand still when things get tough around you too!
- I’m really wanting to share those dreams, goals and accomplishments with my readers and friends and have thought a FUN Scrapbook, with pictures, quotes, goals, etc… would be a lot of fun! I have thought that I would put a deadline on that book for 6 months and a year to share with others what happens during adversity and share how you can overcome anything in your life if you remember to focus on your reason WHY! Create a scrapbook, a journal, e-book to share with others… I believe this could help so many others and yourself to believe again!
If you liked this post today and believe that it may help someone else struggling with adversity, loss of their why then please share it with your friends on Facebook or Twitter, they will thank you for it! Please leave me a comment down below and share if you have ever struggled in your journey to become an entrepreneur, I would love to read it.
Have a day filled with purpose and passion,

Hi Christina,
Fantastic post! I love what you said about never forgetting your why and knowing your why helps you to stay focused and disciplined. I think people start with their why but along the way they forget. Your why is like a compass that keeps you going in the right direcion.
Enjoyed reading it!

@Janette Stoll, Hi Janette,
Hey, Thanks so much, glad you liked it. I have been dealing with some adversity in my life which I share in a few of my posts… and I was not able to focus on my Why… well actually it was fogged up by all that was happening around me.
So glad you enjoyed reading it and come back and visit.
Have a nice weekend,
Christina

Hi Christina,
thanks for putting this together. Powerful stuff. Whose WHY isn’t strong enough will always look for an easier how-to even if the how-to in front of them is already easy.
Take care
Oliver

Hi Christina,
Very powerful point! Keeping connected to your why is so important. the stronger your why, the easier it will be, but for most people it’s necessary to check in once in a while and reconnect with your deeper goals, as you’ve encouraged us to do here…
I find that although my why long term lifestyle goals for myself and my family (a large part of my ‘why’) sometimes get lost behind my short term business goals, so it’s great to have reminders like this to keep the ‘means goal’ connected to the more important ‘end goal’ too…
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Christina! THis is an awesome post that every network marketing person needs to read! It can be tough in the NM business at times and if we don’t have a firm “why” to keep us going then that is when failure will start to creep in! Thanks for the great reminder!

Christina, this is such a powerful post. Anyone who calls them self an entrepreneur has had challenges, myself included. I faced self doubt, and I know that was the biggest barrier towards my success.
I overcame this by reprogramming my mind through reading and surrounding myself with people who belief in me was much stronger until I was able to have that level of belied in myself.
I have so many WHY’s and I’m thankful for that. I love your scrap book idea. So many people talk about vision boards. For me a board is to small…I have a vision wall!

The goals that are easiest for me to achieve are the ones that play to my strengths. Since I am the master of my plan, I lay out steps that involve skills that I am naturally good at or have an affinity for, or am inspired by.
